Our energy consulting services include:

Energy Modelling - Bfreehomes uses industry standard software from The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) to estimate the capacity for space heating and cooling for new and existing residential dwellings. This enables us to specify accurately the capacity for space heating and cooling.

Energy Simulation - Bfreehomes uses the Canadian standard for energy simulation (HOT2000) to assess energy and fuel requirements for new and existing houses. This software models the operation and performance of the building's ventilation, heating and cooling systems to help you build comfort, enhanced energy performance and lower operating costs into all your new home and major renovation construction projects.

Renewable Energy Modelling - We use Canada's internationally recognized software, RETScreen, in assessing and selecting alternate and renewable technologies. Other tools include WATSUN, for modelling the performance residential solar water heating systems including those with or without thermal storage.
