Bfreehomes Design Ltd.’s (BFH) mission and expertise is providing homeowners with greater energy security and control of their future and finances, as well as near term cost savings for space and water heating. We do this by offering design, design/build and consulting services for new homes, renovations and additions. Our services to homeowners include space planning, deep energy reduction strategies that aim for 70%-90% decrease in space and water heating, renewable energy and mechanical system selection, green materials selection and barrier free/universal design principles.
In addition to our work with individual homeowners and contractors, BFH is retained by a range of organizations (such as Natural Resources Canada, CMHC, Ontario Power Authority and the PEI Office of Energy Efficiency) to conduct research to inform their energy efficiency program decisions and advice to their clients on sustainable products and systems.
